Barren Lands Digital Collection: Library resource at the University of Toronto with links to the J.B. Tyrrell and James Tyrrell archival collections at the Fisher Library.

Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Center: website for Territorial Archives and Museum as well as a archaeology program, toponomy, conservation, and community programs. Contains on-line exhibits on the Idaa Canoe and Heritage Trail, Inuvialuit place names, the CBC Northern Service, the Dogrib Caribou Skin Lodge Project, and more. Located in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.

The Fur Trade in Canada and the Northwest Company: McGill library research site that examines and documents the history of the North West company at the end of the eighteenth and beginning of the nineteenth century.

Hudson's Bay Company Archives: a division of the Archives of Manitoba. The Hudson's Bay Company's records document the history of the HBC since its inception in 1670 following the history of the fur trade, North American exploration, the development of Canada as a country and the growth of HBC's Canadian retail empire.

Arctic Institute of North America: Institute to advance the study of the North American and circumpolar Arctic through the natural and social sciences, the arts and humanities and to acquire, preserve and disseminate information on physical, environmental and social conditions in the North.

Canadian Canoeing Museum: exhibits and collections on Canadian canoeing heritage.

Baker Lake (Qamani'tuaq, Nunavut): information on the Hamlet of Baker Lake, Inuit Heritage Centre, Community Groups and Organizations, Businesses, and Conservation Areas.

Canadian Museum of Civilization: The Web site of Canada's national museums of history - the Canadian Museum of Civilization, Canadian Children's Museum, Canadian Postal Museum, Canadian War Museum, and Virtual Museum of New France. Also contains an information site on Native Watercraft in Canada.

Ullumi: documentary film and multimedia site focusing on Inuit culture. Proposes a combination of photojournalism and cinema.

Avataq Cultural Institute: a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and promoting the indigenous language and culture of Nunavik Inuit. Avataq's programs and services include: the promotion and preservation of the Inuttitut language, Nunavik Museums Program and Inuit Art Collection, archaeology, artists' support, genealogy, Documentation Centre and archives, local cultural committees, traditional skills courses, publications and research, and more.

Frank Russell Expedition: University of Iowa Museum of Natural History Exhibit on Frank Russell's two year solo journey by train, boat, and dog sled to northern Canada and Alaska in 1892-94.

Nunavut Research Institute: part of the Nunavut Arctic College and provides leadership in developing, facilitating and promoting traditional knowledge, science, research and technology as a resource for the well being of people in Nunavut.

The Champlain Society: was founded in 1905 to assist the Canadian public to better understand the nation's past through occasional public lectures, seminars, colloquia, conferences, and the publication of occasional papers. The website provides access to eighty-three Society publications which are displayed in our digital collection in a full text, searchable format.
