This blog is a resource for people interested in northern culture and history. I am a cultural anthropologist who does research in Canada. I also enjoy remote wilderness canoeing trips in the arctic, and this blog brings together several of my interests: film, anthropology, canoeing, sustainable development, First Nations, graphic arts, natural history, new media, and web design.
