The town of Inuvik, Northwest Territories, is the subject of a documentary film to debut at the New York Underground Film Festival by British filmmaker Mr. Young on April 1, 2007. Described as chilling and surreal, the film examines the imperfect balance of traditional and modern lifestyles, and features stories of hunting and trapping, the community’s greenhouse, the local SPCA chapter, and northern games and music.
