Salmon, caribou issues lead topics between Fentie, Harper
CBC (North) – The fate of Yukon River salmon and the Porcupine caribou herd topped the list of issues Yukon Premier Dennis Fentie discussed with Prime Minister Stephen Harper Monday in Ottawa. In a release, Fentie said he and Harper discussed U.S.-Canadian agreements related to salmon and caribou, adding that those issues deserve the renewed attention of both governments.
