The Beaver rebrands, embraces web and relaunches as ‘Canada’s History’

National Post – Canada’s second-oldest continuously published magazine, The Beaver: Canada’s History Magazine, is changing its name to Canada’s History, and will also debut a new comprehensive web strategy. From today’s press release: “In an increasingly online and fast-paced world, more and more readers are getting information from the Internet. In response, Canada’s History magazine will be complemented by a dynamic and engaging online portal featuring a wide range of interactive, online media tools, ranging from video blog entries from Editor-in-Chief Mark Reid, to interviews with magazine authors, historians and other prominent Canadians.
