Cornell Lab of Ornithology – a watershed resource for ID tips, life histories, sound and video multimedia, range maps, and more for professional and enthusiast birders alike. April 16, 2009, the Cornell Lab of Ornithology launched “a new version of our All About Birds website. We’ve put a huge amount of work into updating the site, expanding information, adding sound and video from our Macaulay Library archives, inventing new tools, and incorporating photos and ID tips. The new site is bigger and more informative.” The new site includes a smart search box, expanded material for 51 common species, new multimedia features, tabs to keep you organized, website tools for ID skills, new icons, up-to-the-minute data, Living Bird quarterly magazine, and more. Add it to your bookmarks, and make it your home for birding on the web!
