Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution – From April 4–May 11, 2009, the Polar Discovery team will be aboard the icebreaker Healy in the Bering Sea. A team of researchers, led by Dr. Carin Ashjian, will examine fish, seabirds, marine mammals and even humans to learn more about how the changing climate may affect this enormously productive and vital ecosystem.
